Folks of all ages came together for a fun-filled weekend of animal shows, carnival rides and delicious treats at the Green Lake County Fair.

The family-friendly event ran Aug. 1 to 4 and offered a variety of entertainment options.

It featured a carnival, which was provided by A&P Enterprise Shows, along with other familiar attractions.

This year’s fair also featured a few new additions.

The Agri-Puppets entertained children with a puppet show, which taught the importance of farming, animals and agriculture.

Another addition to the fair was the inclusion of a community service project, benefitting children battling life-threatening illness.

Fairgoers sewed pillowcases that will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities-Eastern Wisconsin.

While the fair ended Aug. 4, the project runs until Dec. 1. Pillowcases may be dropped off at the Green Lake County Extension Office located in the Green Lake County Government Center.
